The field of medical technology is about to explode. Obama and the rest of our politicians are working hard on a healthcare system that is supposed to provide coverage for every American. (the Obama/Biden Health Plan PDF)
Hospitals, Insurance companies and medical services providers are developing new, cheaper, better technologies everyday that are changing the way people get their health services.
It will soon be possible to get a video conference check-up without actually going to the doctor.
The new E-Health plan, which many top Healthcare executives approve of, and is being talked about all over the net, will have a positive impact on the environment will be lessened in multiple ways beyond just using less paper. While they may not be perfect, I can see how computers and digital files will make access to health information so much easier, faster and far fewer errors based on lack of information or poorly transcribed notes much rarer occurrences.
I am excited to be working on multiple projects related to these innovations and, like many other Americans, am following the current bills, discussions and proposals in Washington.
