  • While not exactly an uplifting topic, these are two of the most interesting looks at how people choose to end their lives on one of the most beautiful American Bridges.

This infographic from The Chronicle was made by Todd Trumbull was in a story in the SFGate. See the original here.

It is a great use of information, displayed beautifully.

Two years ago, my wife and I rented “The Bridge”, a Documentary Film.

    Trailer

Synopsis: More people choose to end their lives at the Golden Gate Bridge than anywhere else in the world. THE BRIDGE offers glimpses into the darkest, and possibly most impenetrable corners of the human mind. The fates of the 24 people who died at the Golden Gate Bridge in 2004 are linked together by a 4 second fall.

While the subject matter of the film is sad, the way the movie itself was made and the images are engrossing and the stories gripping. I would highly recommend it as a Bay Area must-see.
